ABOUT US
UMIT Services was created by Tribal Law in September of 2020. UMIT Services is wholly owned by the Upper Mattaponi Indian Tribe. We provide professional services including construction management and medical billing/coding.
Current projects are:

Provide medical billing and coding services for UMIT Health, including Aylett Family Wellness and UMIT Home Health.

Provide construction management services for a new dental facility for UMIT Health.
MEET THE TEAM
STEVEN TUPPONCE
DIRECTOR
Director Steven Tupponce is a tribal citizen of the Upper Mattaponi with 4 years of leadership experience serving on the tribal council from 2019-2023, a full term. Steve also serves as the Director of UMIT Health Services.
TOMMY TUPPONCE
DIRECTOR
Director Tommy Tupponce is a tribal citizen of the Upper Mattaponi with many years of leadership experience including Assistant Chief. Tommy is currently also serving as the Director of Facilities and Infrastructure for the Tribe.

MANAGING DIRECTOR
Managing Director Joey Adams is a tribal citizen with a decade of leadership experience serving on tribal council from 2013-2023.

Our billing department manager, Donna Kellum, brings over 20 years of medical billing and coding experience to UMIT Services.
